There was a quiet excitement in the air leading up to Lovena and Dullin's elopement at the Circuit Court in Leesburg, Virginia.
Their elopement was intimate, just the two of them and the court officiant on a crisp and bright fall day. Though the leaves had started to fall, the grass was still green—giving them the best of both summer and fall.
The ceremony itself took place in front of the Leesburg Circuit Court, framed by the building's grand columns and brick exterior. After they had been pronounced husband and wife, Lovena looked over at Dullin absolutely beaming. Her excitement in this moment is still one of my favorite parts of their day.
Afterwards we went to Three Creeks Winery in Hamilton, Virginia, to take newlywed portraits in a beautiful, open grass field next to the winery. After we were done with photos, Lovena and Dullin were able to sneak away for a celebratory glass of wine before hitting the road for their honeymoon.
